Abraham Lincoln, his wife Mary, and three of his four sons are buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois. The permanent structure shown here was designed by Larkin G. Mead and dedicated in 1874. Mead also created most of the exterior sculpture.
