I took the first 25 pictures on May 2, 2001. These pictures were all taken away from the National Mall, of sights that most tourists never see. This is a view of the Capitol from the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue. The Capitol is visible down several Washington DC streets.
